Jacked on the 26th

Thursday, January 26, 2006

Today is the 26th. It comes every month on the same day. On this day I have great mixed emotions. From one end of the spectrum to the complete opposite. On this day... I get paid. Now, I'm like most people. I enjoy receiving my hard earned paycheck. I have bills that must get paid, I have food that must be bought, I have a child that grows rapidly and needs clothes and shoes. (don't get me started on the shoe thing) But, with all that set aside I can't help but boil inside when I see my little stub that shows me how much the government has apprehended. It frustrated me that out of ever dollar I make 33 cents goes to hap-hazard spending programs that don't do much at all. Maybe I'm the only one who feels like I get jacked every month but I work hard for my money and I would love to see more of it.

We need to get on the ball regarding the FairTax Plan. If you haven't researched the bill it's H.R. 25 in the House of Representatives and S 25 in the Senate. Please take the time and read the FairTax Book.

If you are interested in a better way to actually "PAY" your taxes instead of the government "TAKING" your taxes, please get involved.

I sure would love the 26th to be a day I look forward to with a greater anticipation than I do now.

Here's a couple places to see what it's about:
