Our little Andrew - August 2005

Tuesday, August 30, 2005

Being a parent is a great responsibility. It's the second best thing from being married that I have ever experienced. You gotta look and do and say and not say... It's a lot of work that can wear a grown man out.

But when that child looks at you... sees his daddy... smiles and and says, "Ahhh.. gah, gah... Eeee... Ahhh... ". Your heart absolutely melts. It doesn't matter if you've gotten four hours of sleep in the past three days. Hair matted with a big zit in the middle of your forehead. You can't help yourself but smile and feel Gods favor on your life. Knowing that He has trusted you with that privilege and responsibility.

Our childrens lives are in Gods hands, but raising them in a home where love, encouragement, grace and wisdom is honored... that, is in our hands.

Here are some photos of our sweet little boy celebrating his fourth month as our child.
