This past saturday we took advantage of the beautiful weather and intruduced Andrew to his first pumpkin patch.

The weekend of October 15, Mom and Dad came down for a couple of days to spend some time with their grandbuddy. (oh, and us) It just so happens that Fall for Greenville was going on that weekend. Local bands play and restaurants in downtown Greenville set up little tents to promote their best menu items. People from all over SC come to this three day event. It really is a spectacular time. Lots to see and do. We went on sunday and spent the afternoon walking around Greenville eating, and playing... laughing and smiling. Andrew slept for the first three hours so we go to fill our tummies with everything from sushi to icecream, from BBQ to eggrolls. Can't say our stomachs were very happy with us at the end of the day but... hey, thats what you do there. Eat.

We had a wonderful time with you guys. Thanks for everything. We love you and your grandbuddy says, "can't wait to see you soon." (it kinda sounded more like, "Ahh, gah, Bahh, dooh.")


Little Switzerland

This past weekend we had the great opportunity to stay at "Hallelujah". A sweet little mountain home owned by the Gibbes Family in Little Switzerland, North Carolina. It was a piece of heaven. Overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains this beautiful house was our home for the weekend. We relaxed on the porch with the sun beaming down on us. A cool breeze sweeping over our faces and the smell of fresh mountain air filled our lungs with every breath. Late nights nestled close on couches catching up on life with many games of Scatigories pulling out our family's friendly competition. (Hmmm.)

We slept in late and ate breakfast at noon. We went on hikes and marveled at the beauty of Gods creation with every step we took.

It was a great time for our family to come together and just be. From our entire family, we say thank you to The Gibbes family for trusting us with your home. Many precious memories were made this past weekend that our family will cherish for a lifetime.
